This is my seventh year to teach at West Middle School. I have 31 years experience in education. I have earned an Associate of Applied Science from McLennan Community College, as well as, a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M, Commerce. I hold the following Texas Educator Certificates:  English Language Arts and Reading (4-8), English Language Arts and Reading (8-12), English as a Second Language Supplemental (EC-12), American Sign Language (EC-12), Hearing Impaired (PK-12),  and Elementary Self-Contained (1-6).

Being able to communicate and express thoughts and ideas is key for all of us no matter what our goals are. Reading Language Arts is the place to develop these skills. We are going to have an amazing year exploring listening, speaking, reading, writing, and thinking skills.

ClassLink: West ISD uses ClassLink as a single sign on solution for students. The URL for ClassLink is https://launchpad.classlink.com/westisd. If a student is unsure of how to access it, please have them contact me, and I’ll be glad to help!

Google Classroom: West ISD uses Google Classroom as a learning management system (LMS) for classes at West Middle School. When students attend their RLA class they will be given a code to join our RLA Google Classroom.  After that students will access our classroom through their Google Drive, so no separate login is needed.

Should a student need to miss our class, each day's assignments can be accessed and completed through Google Classroom.
