A little about me...
I have 4 incredible children, Lucas, Tyson, Leilani & Charlie. This is a big year for our family... Lucas is getting married on June 6th to his beautiful fiancé Haylee, and Leilani is a graduating senior as well as having the honor of serving our community as Miss West '24-25.
As for me, I am so excited to begin my 4th year here at West, and 3rd year directing the middle & high school Choir program. Before coming to West, I spent time teaching general music & voice in various private settings, starting in 2008, then transitioned to vocal directing for theatre in 2017. Since coming to West, I began the choir program & continued vocal directing through the theatre department, and have had the best time watching our community of students who didn't identify with performing arts begin to step out & take a chance on themselves with success!
This year poses new opportunities including our new Music Studies class (the study of music in general, without performing) & my taking over the middle school yearbook. I am honored to be entrusted with your beautiful children for this upcoming year & just can't wait to get started on all my plans for 2024-25!
