Coordinator for At-Risk Programs
It is my honor to serve as the West Middle/High School At-Risk Program Coordinator again for the 2020-2021 school year!
Over my last 20 years in education, I have served in various roles with 13 of those years right here in my hometown of West! I am a West High School Alumni from the Class of 1995. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University and my Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University. I began my teaching career as a first grade teacher at Connally Primary School and moved to teach at West Elementary in 2005. I began my administration experience at Aquilla ISD where I served on their district administration team for four years (2013-2017). I returned home to West ISD in 2017. I am married to David Pratka (Class of 1990), who works for Sykora Family Ford, and we have four children, Kaylyn Waters (WHS Class of 2008), Keaton Pratka (Class of 2012), Conner Pratka (Class of 2021), and Jaxson Pratka (Class of 2026).
I am so happy to serve our students as the At-Risk Program Coordinator for the West Middle/High School campus. I continue to support all students as they navigate through their middle and high school years with us. I serve as the administrator for all ARD Committee meetings, as the Section 504 Coordinator for the campuses, serve all of our At-Risk student population to make sure they reach graduation day, as well as serving as the West ISD District Safety Coordinator! If you have any questions or need to contact me, please call my office 254-981-2057 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am so excited and look forward to a FANTASTIC 2020-2021 school year!
Mrs. Jana Pratka
