The West Middle School Trojan Ambassadors, Student Council, Builders Club, and Spirit club are excited to announce a special joint project this holiday season ---

Jingle Bell Christmas!!

On Monday, December 15, members from these clubs will visit West Elementary School to spread some holiday cheer with 84 Pre-K students. Each child will receive their very own "Jingle Bag" filled with fun goodies and small toys. Our middle school students will also spend time playing and celebrating with the little ones to make the day extra magical.

This is where we need your help!! We're asking for donations to help fill the Jingle Bags. If you'd like to contribute, please consider purchasing an item from our Amazon Wish List by clicking the link below:

Teachers will give out raffle tickets and students will put them in the raffle prize box of their choice! Boxes will be on a cart in the cafeteria each day, look for Mrs. Jones or Mrs. O'Neil!

Countdown to Christmas Dress Up Days

8th Grade Math, 7th Grade Advanced Math, and Algebra 1 Teacher

I am in my ninth year of education, teaching 8th grade math, 7th grade advanced math, and Algebra I. I also serve as the Chapter Adviser for the National Junior Honor Society, organize student travel experiences, and assist with various athletic events. I enjoy the opportunity to help students explore new places and support them in their extracurricular activities.

Having grown up here, I attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from West High School in 2012. My family is very important to me, and I chose to move back to our community after college to raise my own children here because of the strong values it holds. In my free time, you can often find me at my oldest daughter's sporting events or traveling with my husband and our girls to provide them with new experiences.

One of my favorite movies is *Remember the Titans*, a powerful and inspiring film about how a newly integrated high school football team helped unite their town, even when many people were resistant to the idea.

Educational Philosophy: I firmly believe school is a safe place where students can come every day to further their education. It is my mission to provide a safe and fun learning environment where my students feel welcomed every day. Real world and culturally relevant scenarios combined with a fun/safe learning environment will help our students flourish.

Please give students a 100 Club Coupon when they earn it! Students must earn a 100 on a unit test to earn the coupon. Students will redeem their coupon after 3rd period, on their way to advisory. Students should go to the front of the office to meet Mrs. Jones.
