This week at WMS:

Students will report to their assigned room for advisory. UIL students should check the UIL Google Classroom to find out where to report. For students not participating in UIL, lists are posted in hallways.
Starting Friday, we will have students go to 4th period for their advisory class.
UIL events are Wednesday in Clifton!
UIL One Act Play public performance is Thursday! Don't miss it!

Holiday Glow Up- Wear something shiny or sparkly!

6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and Algebra Interim

10:30-11:05 Advisory

1:15-3:00 IF, all students are finished with interim testing, we will release One Act Play students after lunch.

At the beginning of 7th period, teachers will take roll and then report to the auditorium to watch the One Act Play.

3:35-4:35 Trojan Academy

Friday 12/12

Calling All of Santa’s Helpers! Dress like an Elf or Reindeer!

MS One Act Play students will be in Clifton setting up for their performance.

8th period- 6th grade band students will be rehearsing for their concert

10:30-11:05 Advisory

Students will report to their 4th period teachers for Advisory.

3:00-3:45 6th grade band will be called to be released to the band hall for rehearsal for the band concert. Please take roll, students will need to take their backpacks with them.

Jingle Bell Christmas!!

On Monday, December 15, members from these clubs will visit West Elementary School to spread some holiday cheer with 84 Pre-K students. Each child will receive their very own "Jingle Bag" filled with fun goodies and small toys. Our middle school students will also spend time playing and celebrating with the little ones to make the day extra magical.

This is my 20th year in education. I currently teach 6th and 7th grade math. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing the spark in a student's eyes when they understand something new for the first time.

I have been married for 30 years and have two wonderful children who mean the world to me. I love spending time with family and watching Texas Aggie sporting events.

One of my favorite movies is Father of the Bride. This movie captures the special bond between fathers and daughters - a connection that reminds me of my relationship with my own dad.

I believe in every student's potential and wish them success and happiness in all that they do.

Students Earning a 100 on Unit Tests

Students earn a treat for every 100 they earn on unit tests!

We had so much fun celebrating their success!

Please give students a 100 Club Coupon when they earn it! Students must earn a 100 on a unit test to earn the coupon. Students will redeem their coupon after 3rd period, on their way to advisory. Students should go to the front of the office to meet Mrs. Jones.
