I am currently in my fourth year as the eighth-grade science teacher at West Middle School, bringing 21 years of experience in education, including 13 years as a classroom teacher. I find serving as a public school educator to be highly rewarding, particularly in the opportunity to enhance the lives of our students.
When not teaching, I cherish moments of personal time, often traveling, relaxing by the beach, or exploring diverse music genres. My personal life is enriched by my husband of 28 years, my son, a firefighter in Round Rock, his wife, and my wonderful granddaughter, along with my chocolate Lab, Ranger.
My son and I both love the Harry Potter book series. My favorite movie is Stand and Deliver.
My deepest hope for every student is that they emerge not just with knowledge, but with an unquenchable curiosity, the courage to think critically, and the drive to use their unique talents to make the world a better place, long after they leave the classroom.
