Life Touch Photography: As you may or may not have heard, Life Touch is currently in the news regarding their CEO and the release of the Epstein Files. As several Waco area news stations have released stories on the matter, please know West ISD has reviewed our current and future plans and work with Life Touch in regards to our student, class, and group photos and other related services. As of this Parent Square, all upcoming photo sessions with Life Touch will be cancelled. The district will review other options to complete previously scheduled sessions and services for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. These future plans will be communicated shortly.

- After Hours Transportation Hotline Number: As a reminder for all bus riders, the "after hours" (after 4:00 PM) transportation phone number is (254) 981-2009. The phone number rings directly to D. Truitt, Superintendent.

Last Day of Progress Report Grading Period 6:The last day of Progress Report Grading Period 6 was last Friday, February 13, 2026. Please check Skyward Family Access for the grade report.
- Also, please remember the Nine-Week(s) Grading Period ends on Friday, March 6, 2026 (last day before Spring Break).
- School Bus Stop Reminders: Here recently, the district's Bus Drivers have noticed an uptick in drivers around West failing to stop when a West ISD school bus is loading or unloading bus riders. As a reminder, it is state law that all traffic, regardless of direction, must stop for a school bus with flashing red lights and an extended stop sign, as this indicates children are boarding or exiting. Then, all traffic must not proceed until the lights stop flashing, the sign is retracted, and the bus moves. Please help spread the word!
