District Reminders
- UIL Academic Contest and Trojans Serving Trojans Day: Today, Monday, March 23, 2026, is both the District 17-3A High School UIL Academic Contest and West High School Trojans Serving Trojans Day of Service. Around one-hundred of our high school students will be competing in the UIL Academic Contest at West High School while the other three-hundred students will be taking part in a special local cemetery clean-up day of service along with a special lunch at the KC Hall.
- West Athletic Booster Club (WABC) Trojan Table and Childcare: There is still time to purchase tickets to the WABC Trojan Table Dinner and Raffle! Yahoo! The rescheduled event is set for this Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the KC Hall. Registration begins at 5:30 PM with the dinner and drawing beginning at 6:30 PM. The West High School Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) student group is also hosting a childcare fundraiser for all interested Trojan Table guests. The childcare will be offered from 5:30-10:30 PM at the Little KC Hall right next door to the dinner location. - Good Friday Holiday: Friday, April 3, 2026, is the district's Good Friday/Easter Holiday for all students and staff.
- School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) Meeting: Due to the UIL Bi-District One Act Play (OAP) Contest, this week's SHAC Meeting will be rescheduled to a future date.
- Shepherd's Heart: The district's new partnership with Shepherd's Heart is set to continue this week on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:30-4:30 PM at the south West Elementary School parking lot. All are welcome!
