JOINT TOWN HALL: Potential Uses of the Former West Elementary School Land
Town Hall Information: Tonight, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the West Knights of Columbus Hall (2547 Jerry Mashek Drive, West, TX 76691)
Purpose of the Town Hall: To provide up-to-date information regarding the former West Elementary School property located at 209 North Harrison Street, explain the respective responsibilities of West ISD and the City of West, hear community input regarding potential future uses of the property, and identify opportunities for improved communication, cooperation, and transparency.
Note: The previous sealed-bid process has concluded. There are no active bids or development proposals for the property currently up for consideration, and no action regarding the sale or future use of the property will be taken at this meeting.
