West ISD Morning Traffic Alert

West ISD Morning Traffic Alert

West ISD Students, Parents, and Staff: Earlier this morning, the West Police Department let me know that a train is currently stopped in town and is expected to remain on the tracks until 9:00 AM today. The only open railroad crossings are at Spring Street and Grady Calvery Drive.

Please consider leaving earlier than usual and allow extra travel time, as traffic may be heavier at these crossings. Thank you for your patience, and please drive safely!

If the train remains stopped, Spring Street and Grady Calvery Drive will continue to be the only open crossings. Please plan your route accordingly, allow extra travel time, and expect heavier traffic during dismissal. Thank you for your patience, and please drive safely!
